(Galatians 6:9-10) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
1. Attend Our Church
A. The only kind of Christian described in Scripture is one who’s involved in church.
B. Jesus calls the church His bride
C. When I attend church – I do it to please Jesus.
D. When I don’t attend church – I do it to please myself.
(Galatians 6:7) God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction.
(Hebrews 10:25) Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
E. When I attend church, I encourage Tomorrow’s Generations.
(Galatians 6:8-9) The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
2. Love Our Church
(John 13:34) A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.
A. In verse 10 our church is called a “family.”
B. Families love each other.
C. Families demonstrate their love for each other.
3. Serve Our Church
(Galatians 6:10) Do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
A. I will give more of myself to ministries that have eternal value.
B. I will give less of myself to interests that don’t have eternal value.
