FRESH START 3

Anyone, or any church, who is known to follow Christ can have a fresh start.

(2 Chronicles 7:12-14) “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a temple of sacrifice. If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

1. Let’s Get Humble

A. The opposite of humble is proud.

B. Humble ourselves before God.

C. Being humble before God strengthens our self image.

(Philippians 4:13) I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

D. Begin yielding to God in all things.

E. Humility comes with maturity.

2. Let’s Seek God

A. We need God desperately.

B. We live in an ocean of faces.

C. Let’s seek until we find God.

(Jeremiah 29:11-14) I know the plans I have for you… plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you…

3. Let’s Turn Around

A. Sin has a negative influence on our lives.

B. There is a terrible sin epidemic ravaging out world.

C. Take precautions not to get caught up in sin.

D. Turn around and walk away from it.

4. Then Let’s Pray

Come join me here at the alter

and let’s pray together.
