DON’T BE AFRAID: Part 1
God does not want us to go through life being afraid – of ANYTHING.
(Isaiah 41:10) “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you ; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.”
1. God Will PROTECT You
A. “I am your God.”
B. “I am with you.”
(Psalm 91:1-2) The one who lives under the protection of the Most High dwells in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
2. God Will STRENGTHEN You
(Isaiah 40:29-31) [God] gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. Youths may faint and grow weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.
3. God Will HELP You
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I WILL HELP YOU”
(Psalm 22:19) But You, Lord, don’t be far away. My strength, come quickly to help me.
4. God Will HOLD You
(10) “I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.”
“I will uphold you…”
God doesn’t want us to go through life being afraid – of anything.
