Easter

We are so glad that you are thinking of joining us Easter this year! The weekend will be packed with opportunities to celebrate, reflect, and even have fun with the family.

If you are new, use this link to plan your visit for any questions you may have: NEW HERE!

Schedule:

  • Friday, March 29th: Good Friday service at 7pm @The Main Worship Center
  • Saturday, March 30th: The Epic Egg Hunt! 10am-1pm (click here for more details)
  • Sunday, March 31st: Easter Service starts at 11am.
    • Come early and grab some locally roasted coffee in the foyer and take a family photo at our Photo-Op in the West Foyer.  Be sure to check out one of our Grow Groups at 9:30am.

We believe that God changes lives and Easter is the ultimate celebration of that reality because Jesus didn’t just die on a cross on our behalf, he rose from the dead and conquered death itself.

If you want to see that reality in full effect, then check out Jada’s story in the video below or watch our podcast episode about what the resurrection means to us personally.

Friday, March 29th

Our Good Friday service is at 7pm in the Main Worship Center. It is a time of reflection upon the work of the cross and we’ll be taking communion.

If you want to know how to start your journey with Jesus, then watch this short video and we’d love to talk with you more about it:

What: Families work together to find all 10 of the Lost Egg characters across the church campus to piece together 10 clues to unlock the treasure.  When they find a lost Egg, they will receive a “challenge” to earn their clue, and when they have successfully collected them all, they must present the completed message at the finish line in the MPB were everyone will receive a prize.

Afterwards kids can play in the gaga-ball pit, play a game of 9-Square-in-the-Air, bounce in bounce house, run the inflatable obstacle course, decorate their oversized egg, and eat a free lunch.

When: Saturday, March 30th. 10am-1pm

  • 10:00am: register and gather in the MPB for instructions.
  • 10:30am: The Hunt begins!
  • 11:30am: The Hunt ends and Pastor Wes announces door prize winners
  • 12:00pm: Lunch begins, and people can eat and play as they want.
  • 1:00pm: Event ends.

Where: First Baptist Church Pflugerville, enter in at the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB) where the drive-through overhang entrance is.

Who: This event is designed for families or grandparents and grandkids to have a fun, safe, and bonding experience together.
