Here at FBCP we are passionate about laying the foundation of a growing faith in God for our kids. We like to look at the way Jesus grew. Luke 2:52 says, “and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Over the course of time we want each child to learn as Jesus did and to grow in Stature, Wisdom, Faith, and Friendship. While learning very important truths about life we also discover God’s great BIG story! We dive into the Bible and explore the true stories God has given us as examples of how to, or how not to live!
Each Sunday, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. Here at FBCP we use a curriculum called THE GOSPEL PROJECT which follows a chronological timeline of Bible events – from Genesis to Revelation – over a course of three years. Our kids, from the youngest babies to sixth grade students connect biblical events to God’s ultimate plan of redemption through Christ. It’s the whole Bible like kids have never seen it before.

Summer Day Camp for 1st –3rd Grades
Kids follow a chronological timeline of Bible events. Each week these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more!
Action packed mornings of Bible learning centered around a fun theme and including a worship rally, music, missions, crafts, snacks, and recreation.
Special summer fun days, designed especially for “Little” kids and “Big” kids, which include Bible learning and fun activities.
Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. Awana equips ministry leaders and parents to reach and disciple kids who impact their generation with the gospel (visit awana.org for more info).
Our Club meets on Sundays from 4:45-6:30 pm and begins Sunday, August 28. Check-in takes place at the Multipurpose Building (MPB). Check our Calendar for Sundays that are on/near holidays to see if we will be meeting. Check-in takes place in Fellowship Hall (lower level Bldg. C)

AWANA Registration is ongoing throughout the year. Bring your student to our Awana Club to register. There will be a registration fee to help cover the cost of supplies: patches, books, etc. Uniform if needed (t-shirt or vest), is an additional cost.
Our success is dependent upon you! If you have a child or children in Awana Club, we need and desire your active participation. Please contact the church office for more information about available positions, 251-3052. In our preschool division, one parent is required to serve in Awana. Class sizes are limited.

What to Wear
Girls – shirt and shorts over a one piece swimsuit.
Boys – shirt and shorts style swim trunks.
Shoes – that can be run in and that you do not mind getting wet and dirty.
Note: Swim shoes or old tennis shoes work great, flip-flops do not.

-Sunscreen (Waterproof) – Also apply before they arrive

Bible (It Will Get Wet!), Water Toys, Toys of any Type, Electronic Devices, IPods, CD Players, Games, Cell Phones
Place all medications in a zip-lock bag labeled with the child’s name, name of medicine, and church name and turn in to a camp leader. Please include any medical conditions and special instructions on the registration forms.
Eat a hearty breakfast! Drink water ahead of time so you will be hydrated! Kidz will be very active!
The Kidz Kamp leadership team is made up of children’s pastors from area churches.
The camp is taking place at Reunion Ranch, Georgetown, Texas.

Who: Completed Kindergarten (and must be age 6 before September 1, 2017) – Completed 6th Grade (2016-2017 School Year). Their class will be the grade level just completed.
What: Galactic Starveyors – Discovering the God of the Universe (Collossians1:15-16)
When: June 12-16, 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 pm each morning
Where: First Baptist Church Pflugerville (Check-in and Pick-up at the Worship Center)
Why: We will encounter amazing and wonderful things designed by a Creator who is even bigger than the vastness of His creation. But the most amazing wonder to be discovered truly boggles the mind. The God who created everything there is—the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible—wants a relationship with you!
Cost: Free to Every Child
Optional: T-Shirts and Galactic Starveyors Music CDs will be available for purchase during the week of VBS (while supplies last).

Pre-registration will save you time. On your child’s first day to attend VBS, you can bypass the registration table and go directly to the Check-In station for the grade level your child has just completed.
If you cannot pre-register, it’s not too late! Children may register the first day they attend VBS. Print out the form and turn in the completed form at the Registration Table the first day your child attends. Forms will also be available before VBS each morning. Bring emergency information with you. Our registration form asks for contact phone numbers and health insurance information.
DO NOT Register Yourself Online. If you are an FBC church member and are interested in working during VBS, please contact Carrie Roddy at email@example.com or 512-251-3052. Youth volunteers must be a church member and active in the Revolution Student Ministry.

Who: Kids Completing 1st – 6th Grades (2016-2017 School Year)
What: “BIG” kids spend Wednesday mornings doing fun Bible centered activities at the church, bring a sack lunch from home to enjoy, then head out to a fun “outing” away from the church.
When: June 21, June 28, July 5, July 26, August 2, August 9 ~ 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Drop Off and Pick-Up at First Baptist Church Pflugerville. Outing locations will vary.
Why: Summer Fun!
Cost: $15 Per TKO Day Per Child
