Here at FBCP we are passionate about laying the foundation of a growing faith in God for our kids. We like to look at the way Jesus grew. Luke 2:52 says, “and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Over the course of time we want each child to learn as Jesus did and to grow in Stature, Wisdom, Faith, and Friendship. While learning very important truths about life we also discover God’s great BIG story! We dive into the Bible and explore the true stories God has given us as examples of how to, or how not to live!
Each Sunday, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. Here at FBCP we use a curriculum called THE GOSPEL PROJECT which follows a chronological timeline of Bible events – from Genesis to Revelation – over a course of three years. Our kids, from the youngest babies to sixth grade students connect biblical events to God’s ultimate plan of redemption through Christ. It’s the whole Bible like kids have never seen it before.
We believe partnership between church and family is essential! We want to partner with you to have the greatest influence on our kids for Jesus! Come check-out some of the things we offer for our Kids !

Very Important Truths About Life
Parents of children who are new Christians are contacted about upcoming classes and given the opportunity for their children to attend.
Spring and fall sessions are offered, dates TBA.
Welcome! We are looking forward to a great week of Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Pflugerville. VBS 2021 is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will explore real-life archaeological finds that have helped to uncover the truth about Jesus! Along the way, they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13, that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.
This summer’s VBS will return to an IN-PERSON ONLY format. Mask wearing and social distancing will NOT be enforced. If a child brings a mask, it will be the responsibility of the child (not of the teacher) to wear the mask. Please carefully consider this policy before registering your child. However, many precautions will be taken to protect participants from COVID-19. The sanctuary, classrooms and bathrooms will be disinfected daily. Hand sanitizer will be readily available. Snack and drinks, which are served outdoors, will be provided in pre-packaged, single serving containers. Craft classes will be broken down into smaller classes than usual and craft supplies will also be pre-packaged in single units.
