Music Ministry

First Service

Sanctuary Choir

This is our Adult choir, made up of adults (High School & above) who have a desire to sing and lead in our Traditional Sunday morning worship service at 11am and special events such as Easter, Patriotic, Christmas, etc., throughout the year.  No prior experience is required.

(Experienced or inexperienced – it doesn’t matter.  What matters is that you have a heart for serving the Lord and that you desire to be used in leading our church family in musical praise to Him!)

Rehearsal:  Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Choir Suite behind the choir loft in the Worship Center.

Band

If you have skills in playing the guitar, drums, or bass, and you want to put your talents to work for worship, contact Daniel Roucloux, and he’ll get you plugged in.

Sanctuary Orchestra

This group consists of instrumental players with at least three years’ experience on their instrument. They play regularly for Sunday morning services and special events during the year such as Easter, & Christmas. During preparation for one of these special events, we will rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7:30 – 8:30 pm on the MPB main stage.

Joy Ringers

This is a mixed handbell ensemble that rehearses on Sunday evening. They play several times a year in the traditional service and at special events. Music reading is required and experience is helpful.

Director: Sallie Northen

Rehearsal: Sunday from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the choir room – Worship Center

We are in need of experienced bell players to serve as subs, and possibly a position in one of our bell choir. If you are interested, please call Daniel in the church office (512-251-3052).
