Women’s Ministry

As Daughters of King Jesus, we are a women’s ministry that is grounded in the Word of God.  Our mission is to encourage one another daily through the studying of God’s Word, fostering Titus 2 relationships, and urging one another to obey Jesus.

“But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.”  Hebrews 3:13 (CSB)

2026 Women's Summer Book Club - Holding on to Hope

We can never plan for the unexpected turns of this life that sometimes lead to great personal suffering. Sometimes that suffering can overshadow everything and threaten to pull us under. Nancy Guthrie knows what it is to be plunged into life’s abyss. Framing her own story of staggering loss and soaring hope with the biblical story of Job, she takes you by the hand and guides you on a pathway through pain straight to the heart of God.

Filled with gentle wisdom and hard-won faith, Holding On to Hope offers:

  • An uplifting perspective, not only for those experiencing monumental loss, but for anyone going through difficulty and failure
  • Honest and deeply vulnerable encouragement to help you find purpose during life’s hardest moments
  • An 8-week Bible study on Job for readers who want to dig deeper into Scripture’s words on suffering and grief

Let Nancy’s words give you comfort amidst lament and help you discover a faith that will remain when all hope is lost.

Love Reaches Out

Who we are and what we do:

Love Reaches Out is a homeless ministry started in May of 2022. This ministry provides personal hygiene items, clothes and anything else that’s needed to help them battle the extreme temperatures of both the summer and winter seasons. We also include a pocket gospel of John, donated Christian books, used grow group study books and any personal notes you’d like to include.
God provided a group of our church members years ago that have been faithful to cook and deliver meals every Saturday to the homeless community. There have been continual gospel opportunities through this ministry. We are so excited to partner alongside this group by providing these bags of other needs.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Loretta Wynn or our Women’s Ministry team.

New Mercies

Who We Are: Women walking alongside women who have walked through pregnancy or baby loss. We want to be an outpouring of Godly comfort for those so often overlooked by today’s culture. We provide care boxes with items to meet physical needs for self-care as well as a memento or two as a tangible help to walk through your grief.
You can help by making monetary donations to FBC Pflugerville using Realm – use “New Mercies” in the memo.  You can also bring items to the church office, the Donation Station in the foyer, or give them to Elise Jimenez. Find ideas on our Amazon wish list.
Contact Elise Jimenez at hutchinsonelise@gmail.com or the Women’s Ministry Team with any questions.
