THE Woman


Our moms are capable of doing so much, and the Bible provides ample provision.

1) Her hands.
She selects wool and flax and works with willing hands. v.13
She extends her hands to the spinning staff, and her hands hold the spindle. v.19
Her hands reach out to the poor, and she extends her hands to the needy. v.20
2) Her mouth
She opens her mouth with wisdom and loving instruction is on her tongue. v.26,
3) Her eyes
She evaluates a field and buys it; she plants a vineyard with her earnings v.16
She watches over the activities of her household and is never idle v.27
4) Her heart
The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will not lack anything good. She rewards him with good, not evil, all the days of her life. v.11,12
Her sons rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her: “Many women are capable, but you surpass them all!” vv.28,29
Give her the reward of her labor, and let her works praise her at the city gates. v.31.
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised. v.30
