1. We were CREATED in God’s image to REFLECT (BEAR) His image.
Genesis 1:26,27 NASB
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…” 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
“We were CREATED in God’s image, we then EXCHANGED His image, we are being TRANSFORMED back into His image, and we are now to BEAR His image.”
Genesis 1:26,27 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…” 27 God CREATED man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Romans 1:23 … and EXCHANGED the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being TRANSFORMED into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:49 Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also BEAR the image of the heavenly.

3. How Shall We Then Live as Singles, Couples, and Families?
A. Singles – Men and Women
Bear (Reflect) the image of the most-high God the Father as one of His sons or daughters.
1. All by yourself (but with The Lord of course).
2. On the job.
3. With your friends.
4. In the church.
B. Couples – Husbands and Wives
Leave, cleave, and become one to unveil the mystery of Christ and the Church.
31 FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. 32 This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.
C. Families – Parents and Children
Multiply the image of God.
Genesis 1:28 – God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it…”
