 READ

Passage: Acts 7:1-16

 THINK

Main Point: The God of Glory is ever-present with His people and is faithful to His promise: delivering, providing, and orchestrating His good and perfect will in and thru His people.

  • God is present with and for His people no matter the time or place or circumstance. Being present, He is actively at work in and through our lives.
  • God is Faithful to be Who He is, at what He says, and to do what He says, at how He says it.
    • He is Faithful to Deliver
    • He is Faithful to Provide
    • He is Faithful to Orchestrate

 APPLY

Personal Application: We must respond to God’s Presence and Faithfulness with Trust, Worship, and Fear.

  • We Trust the God of Glory
    • How would you describe your present circumstances?
    • How would you rate your sense of connection with the Lord presently?
    • In light of both the above, is your fellowship with Jesus marked more by fear and doubt or trust and rest?
  • We Worship the God of Glory
    • Are you active in daily finding ways to praise God and worship Him for who He is objectively is?
    • How can you take one step to praise Him more focused today?
  • We Fear the God of Glory
    • Where can you walk out Christ’s righteousness in your present circumstances?
    • Are you acting how He calls you to think and act?
    • How does your trust and worship impact your righteous fear?

 PRAY

  • Praise God for He is Glorious, Beautiful, Good, Great, and Worthy!
  • Thank God for His goodness and kindness to reveal Himself.
  • Praise God for His greatness to bring about our redemption in Jesus.
  • Adore God for His presence and faithfulness in your life.
  • Pray that our trust would be firmer and that our awareness of God’s presence would grow.
  • Pray that the Holy Spirit’s unity and fellowship would reign mightily among us.
  • Pray that for each other, that we would live full of the Spirit.
  • Pray that the eyes of our heart and faith would be set above, where Jesus is at the right hand of God.
  • Pray that we would be faithful witnesses. Pray for your enemies and those you know who oppose Jesus.
  • Praise the Lord that He is sovereign, and His rule is secure.
  • Pray that God would open doors for us to proclaim the gospel and that He would add to our number.
