If we were more aware of God’s protections, we would be so afraid.
1. God’s Angels Will Protect Us (2 Kings 6:15-17), When the servant of the man of God got up early and went out, he discovered an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. So he asked Elisha, “Oh, my master, what are we to do?” Elisha said, “DON’T BE AFRAID, for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them.” Then Eisha prayed, “Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.” So the Lord opened the servant’s eyes. He looked and saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

(Psalms 34:7) The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. (Psalms 91:10-11) No harm will come to you; no plague will come near your tent. For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.

(Psalm 23:4) Even though I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff – they comfort me.”
