1. People Sin
A. ALL people sin.
(Romans 3:23) All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:10) There is no one righteous, not even one.
(Psalms 53:3) Everyone has turned aside: they have all become corrupt. There is no one who does good, not even one.
(Psalms 143:2) No one alive is righteous in Your sight.
B. Abortion is sin.
2. Jesus Died
A. Sin requires a death.
(Romans 6:23) The wages of sin is death.
(Romans 5:12) Just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.
(Ezekiel 18:4) “Look, every life belongs to Me. The life of the father is like the life of the son – both belong to Me. The person who sins is the one who will die.”
B. Jesus died our death.
(Romans 5:8) God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!
(Isaiah 53:6) We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished Him for the iniquity of us all.
3. God Forgives
A. God COMPLETELY forgives ALL sin.
B. God completely forgives ALL abortion.
(1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(Ephesians 1:7) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace.
