We must be familiar with the character of God to understand that he is the source of all good and truth, including the gift of salvation; and it is our mission to serve and share God's gifts with others.

If we are going to endure the trials of life then we must walk through them in God's power and approval.

Success is what Christ rewards for eternity, and God delights to use the world's nobodies.

We need to have an attitude of humility that recognizes that we ourselves don't have the wisdom we need to follow Jesus and navigate life.

If we are going to find joy in our trials then we have to submit to active hardship and walk with Christ intimately.
