Because every human life bears God’s image, we must honor, protect, and love all people with the same value, compassion, and dignity that God Himself gives.
Big Idea:
All people — male and female, young and old, able and disabled, born and unborn — are made in the image of God and possess equal dignity, value, and worth. Every human being is sacred because every human being reflects the Creator.
Our origin is not random or self-made but rooted in the heart and mind of the Triune God, who exists in eternal love and fellowship.
Our purpose is to glorify God — not merely by what we do, but by being known and loved by Him and loving and following Him in return.
Being made in God’s image is what it means to be human; that image is broken by sin but restored through Jesus Christ.
Every human, by virtue of being human, bears God’s image — not just some, not only believers, not only the “good.”
This gives every person equal value and sacred worth regardless of appearance, status, or ability.
“In the sight of God, all humans are equal in value and worth and image.”
God created humanity male and female — both equally in His image (Genesis 1:27; 5:1–2).
Gender is a part of God’s good design; it is not fluid or interchangeable.
Both male and female reflect God’s image fully and equally, though they have distinct roles and functions designed for harmony.
In the home and the church, these differences are meant for complementarity, not competition.
Men and women must honor one another, avoiding stereotypes or devaluing attitudes.
The Unborn: Human life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13–16; Luke 1:41; Jeremiah 1:5). Every unborn child bears God’s image and deserves protection, care, and dignity.
The Young: Children and youth are equally image-bearers; the church must love, disciple, and reach them intentionally. If the church neglects the young, others will fill that gap.
The Old: Aging is not a curse but a design of God. Older believers are vital, honored, and called to mentor and teach (Titus 2:1–8). The church must resist a culture that idolizes youth and devalues age.
Both the able-bodied and disabled, the mentally sound and mentally impaired, are made in God’s image.
Each person is equally valuable and worthy of love, ministry, and inclusion.
The church must reflect this truth by loving and serving those with disabilities — not out of pity, but out of recognition of their sacred worth.
If every person bears God’s image, then our treatment of others is ultimately a reflection of our view of God.
Followers of Jesus must reject partiality, prejudice, or indifference and instead show equal love, dignity, and grace to all.
The church must model God’s heart for all people — young and old, rich and poor, healthy and suffering.

We are called to recognize humanity’s universal need for Christ, uphold personal responsibility for sin, and proclaim the gospel with clarity and compassion.

Because sin has shattered every part of human life, we must look to Christ as the only One who can truly restore what is broken and teach us how to live as God meant.
Genesis 3:7-19
A church with a clear, biblical view of sin will view the world realistically, depend on Christ fully, and minister to others with truth and compassion.
Genesis 3:1-24
Because every person bears the image of God, love all people, including those unlike you or opposed to you, with the dignity, mercy, and truth that reflect Christ Himself.
Genesis 1:26-27; Acts 17:26-27; James 2:1-9
Honor God in both body and soul: care for your physical and spiritual life as one, unified whole redeemed by Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23; Genesis 2:7; Matthew 10:28
