The message of Easter is simple: Jesus died, and rose again to rescue you, and those of us who believe that are on God's rescue team.

If we are going to contend for the Faith, then we need to remember our beliefs, keep the love of Christ, and mercifully rescue others.

God expects his people to take his word and authority seriously because he takes what he says and does seriously.

If we are going to contend for the faith, then we need to know and live the faith.

If we are called to follow Christ, we need to embrace that identity full-heartedly.

We must not be apathetic when our fellow followers wander from the faith, and we must be driven by love to bring them back on track with the truth.

Pray persistently and urgently for God's will to be done, placing our confidence in His character.

There is gravity to praying to our father in heaven, and we must seek him in humility and honesty.
