The things we value in life represent the things that are important to us. Our relationship with God should be the thing we value above all other valued things. The Essential (v. 42a) – “But one thing is necessary…”; The Election (v. 42b) – “…Mary has made the right choice…”; The Eternal (v. 42c) – “…and it will not be taken away from her.”

God’s mind scrambles my brain; God’s mind stretches my world; God’s mind strengthens my faith.

More often than not, we are in AWE of the trivial instead of in AWE of the Trinity. God is the source of all that is GOOD; Because God is GOOD, He GIVES generously; As children of THE GOOD GIVER, we should reflect our FATHER.

The most foreign characteristic we develop is “giving” instead of “getting”. Submission To Christ; Simulation of Christ; Supportive of Others.

Being persecuted for sharing Christ is a good thing! Let’s Remain Focused (1:20-26); Let’s Remain Unified (1:27); Let’s Remain Courageous (1:28-30). 

God directs footsteps of Christ followers along the path of His will. Trust In God (5a); Truth of God (5b); Tune into God (6); Test God.

Sharing Christ with others is what we want to be about. Sharing Christ Is Often Painful; Sharing Christ Is Our Priority; Sharing Christ Is Our Perfection.
