THE “LOVE” PRIORITIES

(Mark 3:20-21) then He went home, and the crowd gathered again so that they were not even able to eat. When His family heard this, they set out to
restrain Him, because they said, “He’s out of His mind.” (31-35) Then His mother and His brothers came, and standing outside, they sent word to Him and
called Him. A crowd was sitting around Him and told Him, “Look, Your mother, Your brothers, and Your sisters are outside asking for You.” He replied to
them, “Who are My mother and My brothers?” And looking about at those who were witting in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My
brothers! Whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”

4. Love for Mom, Dad and Siblings

A. Jesus had a tremendous love for His mother.

B. Mother’s and sons share a special bond.

C. Jesus and His mother shared a “soul-bonding” secret.

3. Love for Other Christ Followers

A. Only committed followers of Christ can love each other this way.

B. Our love for one another is our only proof that we follow Christ.

2. Love for our Spouse

(Ephesians 5:22-25) Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord, for the husband is head of the wife as also Christ is head of the church. He is
the Savior of the body. Now as the church submits to Christ, so wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as
also Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her.

A. Husbands and wives are to love each other supremely.

B. Husbands and wives are to love as though they are one single unit.

4. Love for Jesus

LOVE FOR JESUS IS OUR ABSOLUTE #1 PRIORITY
