MY FATHER IS – A FRESH START

We want to claim a fresh start today!

(Isaiah 43:18-19) “Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

1. We Should Leave the Past
(18) “Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old.”
   A. Leave “bad” things in the past.
(1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(Isaiah 43:25) “It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.”
   B. Leave “good” things in the past.
(Philippians 3:13-14) Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.

2. God Will Bring the New
(19) “Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming.”
   A. Only our Father can do this.
   B. Our Father is in the “Fresh Start” business

3. His New is REALLY NEW
(19b) “Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.”
   A. God is going to provide a way out of this Coronavirus.
   B. God is going to provide a way out of your dilemma.
