Our Father has built a wonderful future for us.
1. Our Father Has Built Us – A NEW CITY
(Hebrews 11:8-10) By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was going to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he stayed as a foreigner in the land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, co-heirs of the same promise. For he was looking forward to THE CITY that has foundations, whose ARCHITECT AND BUILDER IS GOD.
(Hebrews 12:22-23a) You have come to Mount Zion, to the CITY OF THE LIVING GOD (the heavenly Jerusalem) to myriads of angels in festive gathering, to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written in Heaven.
(Revelation 21:2-4) “I saw the Holy City, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: “Look! God’s dwelling is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will exist no longer; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.”
A. Heaven is a whole new kind of city.

(Revelation 22:14) “Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may ENTER THE CITY by the gates.”
2. Our Father Has Built Us – A NEW HOUSE
(Psalms 23:6) I will dwell in the HOUSE of the Lord forever.”
3. Our Father Has Built Us – A NEW ROOM
(John 14:2) “In My Father’s house are many DWELLING PLACES; if not I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a PLACE for you.
(Luke 10:20) Rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
4. Our Father Has Built Us – A NEW BODY
(1 Corinthians 15:40) There are heavenly bodies and earthy bodies, but the splendor of the HEAVENLY BODIES is different from that of the earthly ones.
(Philippians 3:21-22) Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His GLORIOUS BODY.
